Being consistent in how you choose to order words for similar things can help eliminate ambiguity. Even if meanings are unambiguous, inconsistent word ordering can become mentally taxing.
If you have total counts for things, employee_total_count and computer_total_count help communicate meanings of similar concepts, while employee_total_count and computer_count_total introduces an arbitrary difference that muddies the meanings.
